7.Famous stadium

    There are many famous stadiums in Spain. There are stadiums which is larger than Japanese counterpart. I introduce four stadiums.

 

     First, I introduce Camp Nou which is in Barcelona. It is home stadium of FC Barcelona. In 1954, it began to be built. It was built for three year, so it completed in 1957. It was made of iron and concrete. The height of it is 48 meters and the length 250m, the width 220, the area 55000 ㎡. In 1998, UEFA which is football association of Europe recognized it as five star stadium, which is highest rank. The number of accommodated is 99354. The number of accommodated is the largest in the world. There are museum and chapel, sports medical center in the stadium. FC Barcelona is very strong, so it has many cups. Thus, there are many cups in the museum.

 

     Second, I introduce Satiago Bernabeu which is home stadium of Real Madrid. It is at Madrid which is capital city of Spain. In 1947, it was completed, and at that time, the stadium was called “Chamartin stadium”. In 1955, Satiago Bernabeu who was the chairman of Real Madrid from 1943 to 1978 named the stadium “Santiago Bernabeu”.In 1982, it was used as the stadium of World Cup’s final and UEFA Champions League four times. The number of accommodated is 85454. UEFA recognized it as the five star stadium. The 1000^th memorial game was conducted in 2007, but Real Madrid lost Levante. We can tour there and visit trophy room and locker room, walk around the pitch, shop goods in the stadium.

     Third, I introduce Vicente Calderon which is home stadium of Atletico Madrid. It is at Madrid. In 1966, it was completed. In 1982, it was used as the stadium of Spain World Cup’s game. The number of accommodated is 54851. UEFA recognized it as the five star stadium. The feature of this is that highway is through under the stadium. It is very amazing. But Atletico Madrid’s home stadium change from it to Estadio La Peineta in 2013. The number of accommodated is 73000, so I think fun of Atletico Madrid is increasing.

 

 

     Finally, I introduce Mestalla which is home stadium of Valencia CF. It is at Valencia which is east of Spain. In 1923, it was completed. Since then, it had been renovated. The number of accommodated was 45000 in 1959, but it is 53000.The future of it is that the gradient of the audience seat is more steeper than any other stadium in Spain.

Nelson Mandela: Breaking News

Nelson Mandela died for lung infection on December 5, 2013. He was 95 years old. He is one of the greatest people in the world. He was lawyer and politician of South Africa. Most famous thing about him is three.

 First, he conducted anti-apartheid movement. Apartheid separated white person and black inhabitants in the living room, for example, school, toilet, and bus, from about 1930s to 1994. Black people were discriminated in the world in1900s.The right of black people wasn’t admitted in the world. Mandela wanted to modify this condition. In 1944, he entered African National Congress(ANC) and began to conduct anti-apartheid movement. ANC was composed of black people and try to get the right of black people. In 1962, he was arrested, because he was reader of anti-apartheid’s movement. Many people who conducted this movement were arrested. During about 27 years, he was imprisoned. Black people’s discrimination gradually weaken, because apartheid was criticized by many people. Thus, in 1990, he was released and became chairman of ANC. At that time, the president of South Africa was Frederik Willem de Klerk. Democratic South Africa conference was held by him and Mandela. They abolished apartheid in 1998. Thus, gradually, black people could lead a life with white people.

Second, in 1993 he and Klerk took the Nobel Peace Prize, because they promoted the democratization of South Africa. He began to do anti-apartheid movement. Thus, he was imprisoned, but he continued to appeal it. In 1990s, they abolished apartheid and South Africa has been country of democracy. They gave black people courage and helped many people. As a result, many people recognized them as great parsons.

     Third, in 1994, he became the president of South Africa. In 1994, Democartization election was conducted and Nelson Mandela was elected. He was black president of the first-ever. Until that time, white people were presidents, so this is surprising. This thing proofs success of democracy in South Africa. He called for ethnic reconciliation and cooperation. He conducted resolution of conflict with white and black people and recovery from the economic recession. In 1999, he retired from the world of politics.

    Finally, Mandela’s funeral took place on December 10 at FNB stadium which FIFA world cup was conducted at. Many famous people collected, for example Obama who is the president of America. From Japan, crown prince and Hukuda former prime been to there. Of course, many local people collected. Many people mourned Mandela’s death. I don’t know very much, but I understand his greatness.

6. Japanese Player in Spain

There were some Japanese players in Liga Espanola. I introduce Japanese soccer player in Spain.

 
    First, I intoroduce Shunsuke Nakamura who is one of the most famous Japanese soccer player. He is very good at free kicking. In 2009, he transfered from Celtic which is team of Scotland to RCD Espanyol. He belonged to it from 2009 to 2010. He didn’t get the goal in Spain, so I think he must be mortifying. Now, he belongs to Yokohama F・Marinos which is Japanese famous team. And he is the captain of the team.

Second, I introduce Yoshito Ookubo which is famous Japanese player. He was activity at Athens Olympics, so, in 2004, he transferred from Cerezo Osaka which is Japanese team to RCD Mallorca. He belonged to it from 2004 to 2006. In Spain, he played 39 games and got 5 goals. In 2005 He got the prize of “best young soocer player in Spain” but he wasn’t very activity. Now, he belongs to Kawasaki Frontale which is Japanese famous team and he got many goals, so he is top scorer in Japanese soccer league.

Third, I introduce Shoji Jo. He got many goals in Japanese soccer league, so, from 1999 to 2000, he belonged Vallado. He played 15 games and got 2 goals. Now he retire soccer player and became football commentator, so he often illstrates the game of representation from Japan.

      

　　　　Fourth, I introduce Akihiro Ienaga. In 2010, he transferred from Gamba Osaka which is Japanese famous team to RCD Mallorca. From 2010 to 2012 and now, he belonged to it. From 2010 to 2012, he played 19 games and got 2 goals. Until now, he hasn’t done remarkable activity, so I think he want to do wonderful activity.

　　　　Finally, I introduce very young Japanese soccer player in Spain. First, Takehusa Kubo is 12 years old. He has been belonged to the subsidiary organization of FC Barcelona since two years old. FC Barcelona is very strong team in the word, so he will become great Japanese soccer player. Second, Takuhiro Nakai is 9 years old. He belongs to the subsidiary organization of Real Madrid. He is the first Japanese soccer player join the teams. This thing is very amazing for Japanese soccer fan. I want for him to play an active part.

    Spain League is very strong so, there had been not Japanese player who was active.  But there are Japanese player every Japanese soccer fan are expecting. I want to expect them.
