10. Now Liga Espanola

    Now, there are many famous players in Liga Espanola. I introduce some famous soccer players.  First, I introduce Lionel Messi. It is said that he is one of the best players in the world. As his achievement, belongs FC Barcelona and is the main player in the team. He got the prize of Ballon d’Or four times. It is awarded to the player who played the most in the year. He is most winners. In 2012, he made three new records. He got 91 goals in the year, till then, 86 goal was best record. As Argentina national, he got 25 goals. Until then, as a representative player, there was no person who got 25 goals for a year. He contributed greatly FC Barcelona to become storng.

 

 

Second, I introduce Neymar who is from Brazil. He moved from Santos which is the team of Brazil to FC Barcelona last year. As his achievement, he got the prize of South American Football of the year in 2012. He is good at doing dribble and pass, free kick. He is very young, so many people expect him to play an active part. There is World Cup in Brazil this year. He is from Brazil, so Brazilian people expect him to get many goals and lead Brazil to win it.

 

 

 

Third, I introduce Cristiano Ronaldo. He has belonged Real Madrid since 2010. He moved from Manchester United which is the team of England to Real Madrid by the transfer fee of the highest ever. As his merit, he got the prize of Ballon d’Or two times and FIFA World Player of the Year. He is good at doing dribble and shoot, free kick. He and Messi have been competing each other. Level of the league is raised by them.

 

 

 

Finally, I introduce Gareth Bale who is from Wales. He moved from Tottenham FC which is the team of England to Real Madrid last year. It is said that transfer fee is 86 million pounds. Many people expect him for Real Madrid to be stronger.

 Now Liga Espanola, weak and strong team is clearly, so there are some problems. One is that strong team have a lot of money, by which it is possible to enhance team. But, weak team doesn’t enough money to call famous player, so the gap of weak and strong team is more clearly. There are teams haven’t enough fund to run the team. Second, recently, the team which win the league decided roughly, so many people easily expect the team which win it. If these problems is solved, fan of Liga Espanola increase.

9. Derby

     Derby match means that two teams of the same region or city, district play the game. This word was generated in England. This game is more intense than usual game. Especially, fun of two team is very excited when the game conducted. Some derby matches are in Liga Espanola, so I introduce them.

     First, the most famous derby match in Liga Espanola is Barcelona FC vs Real Madrid. This match is called “El Clasico”. There are some reasons why this match attracts attention. Two teams win dispute every year in Liga Espanola, so this match is very important to win the league. The hometown of Real Madrid is Madrid and the hometown of Barcelona FC is Barcelona. Two cities are big city of Spain. Until now, this match is conducted 166 times. Real Madrid won Barcelona 70 times and Barcelona won Real Madrid won 64 times. The dispute of this two teams is so intense that various problems occur. For example, when the game is conducted, the dispute occurs. In 2000, Luis Figo transfered from FC Barcelona to Real Madrid. When Clasico was played, he was thrown various things from Barcelona’s fan. Many people in the world attract attention this game, so  I think to want suporter not to prevent the game.  

　   Second, Madrid derby is very famous. The game is Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid. The hometown of two teams is Madrid which is capital city of Spain. Real Madrid is supported by various class’s fan including rich person. Other hand, Atletico Madrid is supported by working class. This game also rises as much as Clasico.

   

      
.    Third, Barcelona derby is Barcelona FC vs Espanyol. The hometown of two teams is Barcelona which is famous for art. Thus, many fan request spectacle soccer. Espanyol is consisted of people of Catalonia, but Barcelona is consisted of almost foreign countries peoples. Both teams have long history and continue to play this match. But, now, Barcelona is stronger than Espanyol.

   

 

 

 

   

 

    Forth, Seville derby is Sevilla FC vs Real Betis. The hometown of two team is Seville. They have a complex history. In 1905, Sevilla FC was established by employee of the local coal mine. Leaders of its team discriminate the lowly and they didn’t let them play the game, so they criticized them. They established Real Betis. Even now, It said that their relation is bad. Fan of Sevillia FC is the most enthusiastic in Spain, so the game is very exciting.

    Derby match is very exciting, so it is very impressive.

Obituary ：Amiri Baraka

　　　

　　　　Amiri Baraka was African- American writer of poetry, drama, fiction, essays and music criticism. His famous books about jazz is “Blue people” He died on January 9, 2014 and he was 78. He died of diabetes. He had struggled with it for a long time.

　　　　He born at Newark in America, where the town is called “ The Brick City” and in 1934. His first name is LeRoi Jones . In school days, he learned philosophy and religion. After that , in 1954, he joined the US Air Force as a gunner, but he quit it.  Because, he agreed with communism. A merica oppose it, so he made the US Air Force quit. He moved to Greenwich Village, where he began to interest in jazz. In 1962 he published “ The Myth of a Negro Literature”. He insisted that the Negro was misunderstood by Americans. At this time, in America, black people were discriminated. He prompted black people not to be discriminated. In 1963, he make Blue People: Negro Music in White America.  He began to conduct the free jazz movement and received an Obie Award. He wrote numerous books and taught many university. He is regarded as one of the most influential African- America writer of the 20^th century.  

8. Famous Coach

    There are many strong teams in Liga Espanola, because there are good players and coaches. I introduce some famous coaches.

Fabio Capello

 












   

     First, I introduce Fabio Capello who is Italian. He was coach of Real Madrid from 1996 to 97 and from 2006 to 07. He led Real Madrid to win Liga Espanola in 1996 and 2006. But supports of Real criticized him, because they seeked Real Madrid to do offensive soccer, however, he thought defense was most important. He retired only one year. As his achievement, he led his team to won Spain league two times and Italian league seven times and UEFA champions league one time. He liked defensive soccer, so he kept to continue the stable performance. Now he is the coach of Russian representative.

Jose Mourinho

    Second, I introduce Jose Mourinho who is Portuguse. He was coach of Real Madrid from 2010 to 2013. He led Real Madrid to win Liga Espanola in 2011 and Copa del rey in 2011. As his achievement, his team won Spain league and England league, Italian league, Portugal league. He is the first coach that he achieved to win major league of Europe, Spain and England, Italy league. He liked offensive soccer using side widely. His favorite formation is 4-3-3. It means that four persons are defense and four midfielder, three forward. We often hard to understand his behavior, but many people loves him. Now, he is the coach of Chelsea which is England’s famous team. He was the coach there from 2004 to 2007.



     Third, I introduce Pep Guardiola who is Spanish. He was the coach of FC Barcelona from 2008 to 2013. Everyone didn’t him, but his team won Liga Espanola and Copa del rey, UEFA champions league in 2008. He achieved this triple crowns in the first year he became the coach. Thus, he became famous coach in the world. While he was the coach of Barcelona, achieved 14 titles. He makes his player practice mainly three things. He makes his player thoroughly protect rule and have leadership and have the humility. Barcelona’s players practice these things, so its team is very strong. Now, he is the coach of FC Bayern Munich which is German club team and the strongest in the world in 2013.

    If players and coach don’t cooperate with each other, the team can’t become strong. Thus, to make strong team is very hard. But, there are many successful teams in Liga Espanola.

7.Famous stadium

    There are many famous stadiums in Spain. There are stadiums which is larger than Japanese counterpart. I introduce four stadiums.

 

     First, I introduce Camp Nou which is in Barcelona. It is home stadium of FC Barcelona. In 1954, it began to be built. It was built for three year, so it completed in 1957. It was made of iron and concrete. The height of it is 48 meters and the length 250m, the width 220, the area 55000 ㎡. In 1998, UEFA which is football association of Europe recognized it as five star stadium, which is highest rank. The number of accommodated is 99354. The number of accommodated is the largest in the world. There are museum and chapel, sports medical center in the stadium. FC Barcelona is very strong, so it has many cups. Thus, there are many cups in the museum.

 

     Second, I introduce Satiago Bernabeu which is home stadium of Real Madrid. It is at Madrid which is capital city of Spain. In 1947, it was completed, and at that time, the stadium was called “Chamartin stadium”. In 1955, Satiago Bernabeu who was the chairman of Real Madrid from 1943 to 1978 named the stadium “Santiago Bernabeu”.In 1982, it was used as the stadium of World Cup’s final and UEFA Champions League four times. The number of accommodated is 85454. UEFA recognized it as the five star stadium. The 1000^th memorial game was conducted in 2007, but Real Madrid lost Levante. We can tour there and visit trophy room and locker room, walk around the pitch, shop goods in the stadium.

     Third, I introduce Vicente Calderon which is home stadium of Atletico Madrid. It is at Madrid. In 1966, it was completed. In 1982, it was used as the stadium of Spain World Cup’s game. The number of accommodated is 54851. UEFA recognized it as the five star stadium. The feature of this is that highway is through under the stadium. It is very amazing. But Atletico Madrid’s home stadium change from it to Estadio La Peineta in 2013. The number of accommodated is 73000, so I think fun of Atletico Madrid is increasing.

 

 

     Finally, I introduce Mestalla which is home stadium of Valencia CF. It is at Valencia which is east of Spain. In 1923, it was completed. Since then, it had been renovated. The number of accommodated was 45000 in 1959, but it is 53000.The future of it is that the gradient of the audience seat is more steeper than any other stadium in Spain.

Nelson Mandela: Breaking News

Nelson Mandela died for lung infection on December 5, 2013. He was 95 years old. He is one of the greatest people in the world. He was lawyer and politician of South Africa. Most famous thing about him is three.

 First, he conducted anti-apartheid movement. Apartheid separated white person and black inhabitants in the living room, for example, school, toilet, and bus, from about 1930s to 1994. Black people were discriminated in the world in1900s.The right of black people wasn’t admitted in the world. Mandela wanted to modify this condition. In 1944, he entered African National Congress(ANC) and began to conduct anti-apartheid movement. ANC was composed of black people and try to get the right of black people. In 1962, he was arrested, because he was reader of anti-apartheid’s movement. Many people who conducted this movement were arrested. During about 27 years, he was imprisoned. Black people’s discrimination gradually weaken, because apartheid was criticized by many people. Thus, in 1990, he was released and became chairman of ANC. At that time, the president of South Africa was Frederik Willem de Klerk. Democratic South Africa conference was held by him and Mandela. They abolished apartheid in 1998. Thus, gradually, black people could lead a life with white people.

Second, in 1993 he and Klerk took the Nobel Peace Prize, because they promoted the democratization of South Africa. He began to do anti-apartheid movement. Thus, he was imprisoned, but he continued to appeal it. In 1990s, they abolished apartheid and South Africa has been country of democracy. They gave black people courage and helped many people. As a result, many people recognized them as great parsons.

     Third, in 1994, he became the president of South Africa. In 1994, Democartization election was conducted and Nelson Mandela was elected. He was black president of the first-ever. Until that time, white people were presidents, so this is surprising. This thing proofs success of democracy in South Africa. He called for ethnic reconciliation and cooperation. He conducted resolution of conflict with white and black people and recovery from the economic recession. In 1999, he retired from the world of politics.

    Finally, Mandela’s funeral took place on December 10 at FNB stadium which FIFA world cup was conducted at. Many famous people collected, for example Obama who is the president of America. From Japan, crown prince and Hukuda former prime been to there. Of course, many local people collected. Many people mourned Mandela’s death. I don’t know very much, but I understand his greatness.

6. Japanese Player in Spain

There were some Japanese players in Liga Espanola. I introduce Japanese soccer player in Spain.

 
    First, I intoroduce Shunsuke Nakamura who is one of the most famous Japanese soccer player. He is very good at free kicking. In 2009, he transfered from Celtic which is team of Scotland to RCD Espanyol. He belonged to it from 2009 to 2010. He didn’t get the goal in Spain, so I think he must be mortifying. Now, he belongs to Yokohama F・Marinos which is Japanese famous team. And he is the captain of the team.

Second, I introduce Yoshito Ookubo which is famous Japanese player. He was activity at Athens Olympics, so, in 2004, he transferred from Cerezo Osaka which is Japanese team to RCD Mallorca. He belonged to it from 2004 to 2006. In Spain, he played 39 games and got 5 goals. In 2005 He got the prize of “best young soocer player in Spain” but he wasn’t very activity. Now, he belongs to Kawasaki Frontale which is Japanese famous team and he got many goals, so he is top scorer in Japanese soccer league.

Third, I introduce Shoji Jo. He got many goals in Japanese soccer league, so, from 1999 to 2000, he belonged Vallado. He played 15 games and got 2 goals. Now he retire soccer player and became football commentator, so he often illstrates the game of representation from Japan.

      

　　　　Fourth, I introduce Akihiro Ienaga. In 2010, he transferred from Gamba Osaka which is Japanese famous team to RCD Mallorca. From 2010 to 2012 and now, he belonged to it. From 2010 to 2012, he played 19 games and got 2 goals. Until now, he hasn’t done remarkable activity, so I think he want to do wonderful activity.

　　　　Finally, I introduce very young Japanese soccer player in Spain. First, Takehusa Kubo is 12 years old. He has been belonged to the subsidiary organization of FC Barcelona since two years old. FC Barcelona is very strong team in the word, so he will become great Japanese soccer player. Second, Takuhiro Nakai is 9 years old. He belongs to the subsidiary organization of Real Madrid. He is the first Japanese soccer player join the teams. This thing is very amazing for Japanese soccer fan. I want for him to play an active part.
